Keynote Speakers

Connie Vargas

  • Connie A. Vargas embodies the virtues of resilience, determination, and empowerment, representing her proud Latina heritage. Her journey is a shining example of breaking barriers and uplifting her community.

As the eldest sibling in her family, Connie understood the significance of leading by example. Despite facing challenges, she pursued her education, becoming the first in her family to attend college and setting a foundation for others to follow.

In her professional endeavors, Connie approaches her work with humility and dedication. Serving as a Mortgage Lender, she offers invaluable support to individuals striving for homeownership, always with a sincere desire to help others achieve their dreams. Additionally, Connie's entrepreneurial spirit shines through her co-ownership of Barlash Aesthetica, an esthetician salon, where she strives to create a space where clients feel both beautiful and empowered.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Connie remains deeply committed to her community. Whether through her involvement as a board member of Casa (Hispana a non-profit organization with a mission to advocate for and empower our Hispanic/Latinx community) or through various acts of service, she quietly works to ensure that opportunities for growth are accessible to all.

In every aspect of her life, Connie remains grounded in the values of humility, resilience, and service. As a speaker, she shares her story to inspire others to embrace their heritage, pursue their aspirations, and make a meaningful impact in their community.

Wendy Schultz

  • Wendy Schultz is a dynamic entrepreneur who left the corporate world a decade ago to forge her path in entrepreneurship and create the life of her dreams. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in International Business and a Master of Business Administration, Wendy is a visionary leader who isn't afraid to dream big and pursue ambitious goals with fervor.

With a diverse background spanning sales, healthcare, retail, and real estate, Wendy has achieved remarkable success. She's built multi-million dollar businesses, negotiated substantial contracts, and transformed challenges into opportunities. Her tenacity and resilience were tested when she experienced the loss of a seven-figure business in just 30 days, but she emerged stronger than ever, embodying a relentless "never quit" attitude.

Wendy's passion for entrepreneurship is matched only by her dedication to helping others succeed. She's a natural teacher who finds joy in guiding individuals towards their goals, whether it's through coaching, mentoring, or speaking engagements. Her supportive yet no-nonsense approach encourages action and accountability, empowering others to break through barriers and reach new heights of success.

Having recently hired a CEO to run her vacation rental management company, The Simple Life Hospitality, Wendy is now semi-retired and can be found soaking up the sun on the beach or traveling, surrounded by her loving family and a menagerie of pets. Residing between Venice, FL, and De Pere, WI, Wendy epitomizes the fulfillment of her dream lifestyle, having created a life she doesn’t need a vacation from.

Aisha Morales

  • In 2016, Aisha had moved to Green Bay from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she was a weekday reporter and weekend weather forecaster/storm chaser. She was a reporter and weekend anchor here in Green Bay for about five years before getting a major promotion, stepping in as an Action 2 News This morning Anchor and Noon Anchor after legendary Anchor Kevin Rompa retired. She is also now WBAY’S first First Alert Fastcast Anchor, operating the First Alert Digital Desk where she adlibs top stories of the day, weather, traffic, all the while operating as her own sound operator and director. As a big Green Bay Packers fan, Aisha could not refuse the chance to work in Green Bay. She loves the town and hopes to stay here for many years to come. She participates in several community committees on topics she is passionate about, including diversity/inclusion and environmental causes. She enjoys collecting records and going on walks. Exploring is her favorite thing to do!

Jennifer Bourget

  • First and foremost, I am a woman with a dream! I have worked in several different capacities over the last eighteen years in special education and I have seen some progress and many great successes for children and adults with disabilities. However, our society has a lot of work to do in the area of meaningful inclusion for people with differing abilities and challenges. It is my dream to create a beautiful, accessible, and welcoming space where our community can come together to learn and provide opportunities to change hearts and minds.

I am a wife and a mother of two; Barrett is ten years old and Emma is six. We have a busy household with two cats; Sox and Chester, and our Bernese Mountain dog, Cooper. I couldn’t have taken this huge leap of leaving my district job to start a new non-profit without the love and support of my husband, Josh and all of my friends in education. It has truly been amazing to see and hear the level of support in this community when I share my dream of making our world more inclusive and accessible for all. I am excited to share my hobbies and passions of travel, baking, reading, and arts and crafts with our clients. I am excited to share my knowledge and experiences with families as we all become better advocates for our children with disabilities. It takes a village to raise a child and I am thrilled to help create a bigger village for our families that may feel alone on this journey.

Sponsorship Opportunities

As a sponsor of Women of Vision Luncheon, you will demonstrate support for YWCA Greater Green Bay, serving women and families for 104 years. Event sponsorship connects your organization to YWCA’s powerful legacy and invests in the path ahead. We invite you to support our mission by becoming a sponsor.

For more information on sponsorship opportunities, please contact
our Development Team at 920.432.5581 or devteam@ywcagreenbay.org.

Host a Table

Will you host a table at YWCA’s Women of Vision Event? As a Community Table Host, you would simply invite members of your network to join you at the luncheon, and to help influence support for YWCA.

Last year alone, we served 754 women in the Women’s Empowerment Center, the highest ever in our agency’s history. As a powerful and influential person, we are asking that you and your tribe help make all the difference in raising life-saving dollars for women who are looking for advancement whether through empowerment programs, early childhood and/or job training.

Table Hosts are standouts because they are integral to the success of the Luncheon and have the goal to (literally) bring people to the table who would be willing to learn more about YWCA’s mission and make a financial contribution to support YWCA’s services.

To use your power of one and host a table, please contact Amy at aschaeuble@ywcagreenbay.org. Each table seats eight, shared tables can be accommodated as well.

Become a Women of Vision

Will you join this Women of Vision Campaign by becoming a Women of Vision? All Sustaining Women of Vision donors will be recognized at our Women of Vision Luncheon event.

Thank you to our event sponsors!
