  • Grant and Development Specialist

    Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

    Job description:

    We’re looking for a strategic thinker and compelling storyteller who knows that words can move both hearts and dollars.

    As our Grant & Development Specialist, you’ll be a key driver behind the sustainability and growth of our mission. You will:

    1. Research and identify new funding opportunities (federal, state, corporate, and private foundations)

    2. Write, develop, and submit compelling grant proposals

    3. Collect, analyze, and report program outcomes to demonstrate impact

    4. Track grants, deadlines, and donor activity with precision

    5. Support donor prospecting and cultivation strategies

    6. Partner cross-departmentally to align funding priorities with program needs

    7. Help tell the story of how YWCA changes lives in Greater Green Bay and beyond

    8. Collaborate with the Director of Fund Development to strengthen a comprehensive, forward-thinking development strategy

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development

    2. Familiarity with donor research tools

    3. Knowledge of foundation and government funding sources

    4. Deep commitment to the mission and values of YWCA Greater Green Bay

    This position plays an important role in ensuring children receive balanced meals while supporting daily kitchen operations and nutrition guidelines.

  • Do you love the water and love helping people feel their best? Join YWCA Greater Green Bay as an Aqua Group Exercise Instructor and bring energy, empowerment, and fun to our aquatics community!

    We’re looking for someone who can lead welcoming, engaging, and safe aqua fitness classes for participants of all ages and abilities. Current offerings include Aqua Mobility, Aqua Aerobics, Aqua Strength, and Parent–Tot Swim. We’re excited to welcome instructors who want to bring their own creative class ideas to the pool!

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead dynamic and accessible aquatic group exercise classes.

    • Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all participants.

    • Adapt programming for a wide range of ages, abilities, and comfort levels.

    • Develop new or specialty classes based on your expertise and passions.

    • Ensure participant safety by following YWCA aquatics policies and best practices.

    • Represent our YWCA mission to empower individuals and strengthen community.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Enthusiasm for aquatics, fitness, and helping others grow.

    • Ability to teach or willingness to learn a variety of aquatic formats.

    • Strong communication and motivational skills.

    • Experience in aquatics, group exercise, or early childhood instruction is a plus—but passion and willingness to learn also go a long way!

    • Certifications in lifeguarding, water fitness, or CPR/AED are helpful (or ability to obtain).

  • The YWCA Greater Green Bay is seeking an Early Childhood Director to lead our licensed, year-round childcare program serving infants through school-age children. This leadership role oversees program operations, staff development, curriculum standards, and compliance while fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment for children and families.

    This position plays a critical role in ensuring our early childhood programs operate with excellence, meet state and federal regulations, and reflect YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee all early childhood programs and ensure compliance with licensing standards and state and federal regulations

    • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise teachers and support staff while fostering a collaborative team culture

    • Set and maintain curriculum standards and educational goals for infants through school-age children

    • Manage program budgeting, billing, and financial reporting to meet revenue targets

    • Maintain open communication with families, staff, and leadership regarding programming and student progress

    • Implement equitable and inclusive policies that remove barriers and support diverse families

    • Coordinate special events, outreach, and community engagement efforts

    This Position Is Ideal for Someone Who:

    • Has strong leadership and team management experience

    • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Development, or a related field (WI DCF 251 Director Credential required)

    • Has at least five years of experience in early childhood education, including staff supervision

    • Is organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator

    • Is passionate about youth development, equity, and community impact

    • Aligns deeply with the YWCA mission and values

    Pay: $50,000 – $55,000 per year
