Role Overview
As the Early Childhood Director, you will serve as a key member of our leadership staff. You will oversee the implementation of all early childhood programs, ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations while meeting our educational and financial goals. You’ll guide a licensed, year-round early childhood program serving over 100 children (from infants through school age), set high curriculum standards and create an innovative, inclusive environment that responds to diverse family and community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership: Oversee all YWCA early childhood and care programs, ensuring compliance with licensing standards and state/federal law.
Staff Supervision: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a diverse team of teachers and support staff, overseeing daily operations and fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
Curriculum and Standards: Set and maintain curriculum standards and educational goals for infants through school-age children and establish policies and procedures to achieve them.
Financial Management: Manage program budgeting, billing, and financial reporting to meet revenue targets and control expenses.
Communication: Maintain open, regular communication with parents, staff, and management about programming, student progress, and any concerns.
Equity & Inclusion: Create and implement procedures that remove barriers and foster equity and inclusion for all children and families in the program.
Community Engagement: Coordinate special events, fundraising, and outreach activities to promote YWCA programs and strengthen community partnerships.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Development, or a related field (WI DCF 251 Director Credential required). At least 5 years of relevant experience in early childhood education, including staff supervision.
Leadership & Teamwork: Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and team-building skills. • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
Cultural Competence: Ability to relate effectively and patiently to people of all backgrounds; commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Passion & Mission: A passion for youth empowerment and community engagement, and a strong alignment with the YWCA mission.

Role Overview
The Communication & Marketing Specialist supports organizational communication and marketing efforts through content creation, media relations, event promotion, and social media management. This role is ideal for a creative professional with strong writing, design, and digital media skills who is passionate about advancing YWCA’s mission. This is a part-time position with the potential to go full-time in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and edit engaging content for newsletters, press releases, brochures, flyers, and digital platforms.
Manage and grow YWCA’s social media presence across multiple platforms.
Create marketing and promotional materials that align with YWCA’s brand.
Assist with website updates and email campaigns.
Support communication for events, programs, and fundraising initiatives.
Ensure consistent, high-quality branding across all materials.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in communication, marketing, graphic design, or related field.
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or graphic design.
Initiative in finding new and better ways to approach work is desired.
Ability to anticipate challenges before they arise
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proficiency in Canva and Constant Contact.
Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X).
Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Work Schedule: Part-time, Flexible, Monday through Friday, mostly during day
General Responsibilities: Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for quality fitness programming in areas of land and/or water instruction. Instructors must be service oriented and exhibit a positive attitude with Clients and Staff.
Competitive Pay + Free Membership
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills to work with a variety of populations
Must be able to show and explain proper technique
Well organized
In good physical condition
Ability to develop routines for teaching specific classes
Educational background in related field and/or strong experience in teaching fitness classes
CPR and first aid certification or willing to acquire such at our cost
