We’re looking for someone who can lead welcoming, engaging, and safe fitness classes for participants of all ages and abilities. We’re excited to welcome instructors who want to bring their own creative class ideas to the class!
What You’ll Do
Lead dynamic and accessible group exercise classes.
Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all participants.
Adapt programming for a wide range of ages, abilities, and comfort levels.
Develop new or specialty classes based on your expertise and passions.
Ensure participant safety by following YWCA policies and best practices.
Represent our YWCA mission to empower individuals and strengthen community.
What We’re Looking For
Enthusiasm for aquatics, fitness, and helping others grow.
Ability to teach or willingness to learn a variety of formats.
Strong communication and motivational skills.
Experience in aquatics, group exercise, or early childhood instruction is a plus—but passion and willingness to learn also go a long way!
Certifications in lifeguarding, water fitness, or CPR/AED are helpful (or ability to obtain).

Do you love connecting people with meaningful opportunities? Are you passionate about community engagement, volunteerism, and empowering women and families?
YWCA Greater Green Bay is looking for a relationship-driven, organized, and enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator to help build a strong volunteer community at our Women’s Empowerment Center. In this rewarding role, you’ll recruit and support volunteers, develop community partnerships, coordinate volunteer schedules, and help create welcoming spaces where individuals can learn, grow, and thrive.
About the Role
Your work will support a variety of programs and activities, including our Madison Street Boutique, Career Closet, Welcome Desk, Learning Lab, tutoring, fitness activities, Family Support Drop-In Care, workshops, community outreach, and special events.
What You’ll Do:
Recruit, interview, onboard, train, schedule, and support volunteers.
Develop partnerships with schools, colleges, community organizations, volunteer centers, and workforce development agencies.
Coordinate volunteer and work-experience placements in collaboration with community partners.
Work with staff to identify volunteer needs and ensure appropriate program coverage.
Coordinate volunteers for special events, fundraising activities, community outreach, and YWCA initiatives.
Support outreach and promotion, including maintaining the Madison Street Boutique Facebook page.
Help foster an inclusive, safe, welcoming, and trauma-informed environment for volunteers and program participants.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, managing details, building relationships, and making things happen.
Required qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
An associate degree in communications, nonprofit management, education, social work, or a related field.
One year of relevant experience in volunteer coordination, job placement, scheduling, customer service, mentoring, retail, or a related area.
Experience with community partnerships, event coordination, or workforce development.

YWCA Greater Green Bay is hiring five Community Health Workers (CHWs) to help individuals and families navigate healthcare, overcome barriers, and connect with vital community resources. This is an opportunity to do meaningful, relationship-centered work while meeting people where they are—in their homes, at clinics, and throughout their communities.

What Does a Community Health Worker Do?
As a Community Health Worker, you’ll serve as a trusted connection between community members, healthcare providers, YWCA staff, and local resources. You’ll help people navigate systems that can sometimes feel overwhelming and make it easier for them to get the care and support they need.
Your day-to-day work may include:
Building trusting relationships with individuals and families.
Helping participants find healthcare providers, schedule appointments, and understand follow-up recommendations.
Connecting people with resources for food, housing, transportation, employment, mental and behavioral health, and family support.
Providing accessible health education and encouraging preventive care and healthy behaviors.
Coordinating referrals and communicating with healthcare providers and community partners.
Participating in health fairs, community events, screenings, clinics, workshops, and outreach activities.
Advocating for community needs and helping identify opportunities to improve access to services.
You won’t be doing this work alone. You’ll collaborate with YWCA colleagues and community partners who share a commitment to improving health and strengthening communities.
Where You’ll Work:
Positions will serve communities in Northeast Wisconsin, with assignments focused on the following counties:
2 positions covering:
Northern Oconto County
Oneida County
Shawano County
Menominee County
3 positions covering:
Brown County
Southern Oconto County
Outagamie County
Kewaunee County
Your typical week:
1 day at YWCA Greater Green Bay for office-based work, coordination, documentation, and collaboration.
4 days in the community meeting with participants and engaging healthcare providers, community organizations, and other partners. This may include home visits, clinics, and community-based settings.
Education and Experience:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area.
Preferred:
Completion of Community Health Worker training.
Experience working with individuals, families, or communities in healthcare, human services, social services, education, or a nonprofit setting.
Experience in community outreach, health education, healthcare navigation, care coordination, or rural communities.
Bilingual or multilingual skills.
Relevant experience in helping professions and community service is valuable. If you’re passionate about supporting others and have transferable skills, we encourage you to apply.
