Week Without Violence is part of a global movement to end violence against women and girls. This year’s theme, Safe Beginnings: Protecting Mothers, Nurturing Futures, is all about how we can support moms and their children as they build hopeful, healthier futures. Join us in supporting families in our community!
Join us at YWCA for Mapping Safe Beginnings: An Interactive Data Walk. Explore local data, discover resources, and enter to win prizes. Each day features a theme building awareness and action around creating safe beginnings and nurturing futures. Attend in-person at the YWCA and follow along on social media to learn, engage, and take action during YWCA Week Without Violence.
We will be hosting a Hygiene Supply Drive all week long to support our community partner, WIC, in providing essentials for mothers, infants, and children. Items can be dropped off at YWCA or delivered right from your favorite online store to YWCA Greater Green Bay, 230 S Madison St, Green Bay WI 54301
All special events and YWCA Fitness Classes are free and open to the public during Week Without Violence. *Registration is preferred for special events.

Reading to children at a young age enriches their understanding of the world around them, enhances cognitive development, and helps them gain the language they need to express themselves. By reading to our children, we prepare them for future success, while building a foundation of empathy for others.
Each day during Week Without Violence a different community leader will spend time reading to our childcare students. Everyone is invited to attend each reading virtually via Facebook livestream – follow us on Facebook to read along.

Mindful Reiki & Meditation
Start your day centered and energized with some gentle, light movement, meditation and journaling.
Reconnect with your best self and restore your balance. Just because we can do it all doesn’t mean we should—or that we deserve to feel worn out and frazzled. You have so much to give—to your family, your work, your relationships.
Let us guide you in stripping away the layers of stress and distraction, returning to the present moment and to your truest self. Feel empowered, refreshed, and ready to live your best life.
