Stand Against Racism - Rooted in Racism: Housing Disparities

Join our panel of local experts as we explore the issue of homelessness and housing insecurity from the vantage point of race and ethnicity. How has history shaped the current landscape? What factors are at play today? How do we as a community come together to ensure all members of our society have access to safe, affordable housing?

Stand Against Racism is a yearly series that brings information on and perspective to the most relevant and timely issues in diversity and inclusion. This year, we are splitting our series between COVID-19 and systemic racism. COVID-19 has impacted our communities of color differently. The virus and response to the pandemic has shed a light on underlying disparities in healthcare, resources, assets, as well as cultural differences and the overall impacts of systemic racism.
