Welcome to the Equity Game!
At each stop you will be scanning a QR code to learn about real world disparities faced by people today based on race and gender differences. At certain stops you will be given opportunities to take a personal Stand Against Racism by engaging in action outside of the game.
Our goal is to learn a little more about the experiences of different people in our community so that together we can better fulfill the YWCA mission of eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
Choose a game piece to use throughout the game. Each game piece represents a different woman with a different age, career, family status, and race. At each stop during the game, you will select the same piece to learn how your character is affected by inequity in our society.
Note: if you are here with friends/family, make sure to choose different game pieces to have different perspectives to discuss with one another.
