Virtual Event

Join YWCA Greater Green Bay CEO, Renita Robinson, in a discussion with Melissa Borowicz, CEO and Owner of The Utech Group, and Bridget O’Connor, founder of the  O’Connor Connective, as they merge three perspectives in response to a significant public occurrence that highlights the intersection of racism, empowerment, alignment and connecting as female leaders. They will spend  an hour in a provocative conversation unpacking the opportunity related to the recent incident on the steps of the US Capital between Representative Ted Yoho, and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the selection of a female candidate for Vice President.  This discussion will give permission to many who have been afraid to engage in or say the wrong thing about what happened.  They will model the reality that you can talk about anything when you create a safe space.  This discussion will provide hope for the current challenges facing women leaders attempting to grow together from different backgrounds and frames of reference.  This candid hour is a refreshing look at the capacity that is present when women leaders work together.  Eliminating racism and empowering women in greater Green Bay and the region starts with conversations like this one. You don’t want to miss it.
