The YWCA changes lives every day

The YWCA Greater Green Bay has been an integral part of Green Bay since 1919 and as we enter our 105th anniversary we are even more committed to making a difference in our community. We are a vibrant organization on a mission to empower women, inspire children and create a more inclusive community. We are succeeding in doing this by continually developing relevant and community essential programming that promotes lifelong learning and wellness, embraces diversity and enriches the lives of families. These programs include Women’s Economic Advancement, Social Justice & Advocacy and Health & Safety.

You can make a difference in the lives of the women, girls and the families we serve with your types of donations below. For more information, please contact Marla Sparks, Director of Fund Development at msparks@ywcagreenbay.org today.

Ways to Give ↘

  • ACH electronic giving is a direct payment program whereby your contribution is debited automatically from your checking or savings account. Electronic contributions cannot be lost, stolen or destroyed; are resistant to errors and fraud; and are free for both you and the YW. ACH transfers make monthly giving easy, and you can cancel your authorization by notifying US at any time. Giving electronically makes it easy for you and helps YWCA Greater Green Bay save money!

  • Generous donations from individuals and local organizations make our Career Closet and Madison Street Boutique possible. We are always accepting community donations of gently used clothing. All clothing donations are sorted by volunteers, and high quality items are either offered for free in our Career Closet to area women preparing for interviews or building a professional wardrobe, or for sale in our Boutique, depending upon the nature of the item. All Madison Street Boutique profits benefit the Women’s Empowerment Center.

  • You or your business can make an impact by sponsoring one of our important programs, such as Week Without Violence, Until Justice Just Is, or Women of Vision Luncheon. Please contact Marla Sparks at msparks@ywcagreenbay.org for information.

  • We have relied on community support for 100 years and look forward to continuing the tradition of service to our community. Please consider a donation today!

  • Donations of shares of stock are also gratefully accepted. Discuss tax-related issues with your attorney or accountant. Authorize your stockbroker or your bank to complete the transfer process. Instruct your broker/bank to call 920-432-5581 and speak with Marla Sparks.

Please notify us of all stock gifts. This will help shepherd your gift securely through the transfer process.

If you are in possession of the physical securities, you can directly mail, or hand deliver the certificate(s) without any endorsement or assignment to our offices. Please enclose a letter stating the purpose of your contribution. In a separate envelope, please include a signed stock power form for each gift. Your broker or banker will be able to provide you with the form.
